Author Jo Johnson writes a great online article titled “The Health Benefits of Grass Farming.” I’ve posted the link below and it’s a great read if you’re looking for more ways to start 2015 off right with your diet. Johnson states “grassfed meat has about the same amount of fat as skinless chicken or wild deer or elk. When meat is this lean, it actually lowers your LDL cholesterol levels.” I’ve included Johnson’s chart below to see how much fat is in the meat that you are eating.
